JetBlue Terminal at JFK
Terminal 5 covers more than 640,000 square feet and more than doubled daily passenger capacity, allowing up to 250 flights per day, servicing roughly 20,000,000 passengers per year.
The project included a 20-lane TSA check, a baggage conveyor system, an extremely large passenger ticket area, as well as an expansive section for traveler amenities including sundry stands, luxury retail stores, bars, restaurants, and fine dining, as well as a TSA bridge connecting the AirTrain with the terminal and a 1,500 space parking lot.
FSC served the client by providing detailed scaled drawings using a proprietary system creating the ability to layout entire floors in hours instead of weeks. By virtue of this, handoff to the client was completed as planned, and the contractor enjoyed the operating efficiency required to meet profitability targets.
